This song is obviously singing about a relationship between two people. Whether it being already real or just an imaginative one. Immediately the song starts off with a verse suggesting some of the vices. Near the end of it, it states, “Wishing I could be you. Oh I could be you” (Donkeyboy). Saying that they feel like “gravity is bringing them down” instead of “flying in the sky above” (Donkeyboy). Only to mention the future, saying that there isn’t going to be one while they have nothing to lose. This could easily suggest how they are feeling envious. By how the gravity or the weight of their emotions are dragging them down. Not allowing them to live or pursue towards the person or passion that they want. Which is a great example of greed and lust as well. The lyric which says “a fit of a future, well that ain’t coming soon” (Donkeyboy) suggests with some regret that the chance of them flying towards their goal isn’t going to be happening in the future anytime soon. “We have nothing to lose” points out how stuck they are. Meaning, if they took the chance towards their greedy or lustful decisions they wouldn’t be losing too much of their lives or rather their dignity.
The chorus on the other hand switches it up a bit. Saying near the end, “I wish that I could be lost. In the bitter sweet taste of you” (Donkeyboy). Both envy, lust, and greed is presented here. No doubt that they are since they want to be lost with this significant other. The dominant one however, seems to be lust. Simply because they just want to be with the other person instead of the life that they have
