Donatello's Commercial Analysis

The commercial for Fratello’s really caught my eye in the amazing way that it was shoot. The interlocking scenes of their delicious looking meal options, friendly staff, and happy patrons really did a great job at showcasing what kind of restaurant that it is. It was the food though that really set this advertisement apart from the rest for me. Between the scenes of the finished product and the preparation of the food, it made me drool a little. It defiantly put me in the mood for some delicious pasta and other Italian dishes, which I am sure was the aim of this commercial. Fratello’s is the restaurant behind the advertisement and they label themselves as being a modern Italian restaurant with traditional recipes that are crafted with love. Established in 1996 by Bobby and Joey Madison who filled their menu with authentic Italian family recipes. From what is on their website they pride themselves in their recipes and the quality of their food, as shown in the commercial. They state that they want to be the place that you visit frequently and that service is their word and they promise to make your meal one to remember. I think this really does show though in the ad with …show more content…
I gathered this from the ad based on the patrons that are pictured in the ad and the staff that are working in it as well. All of the patrons in the ad are well dressed and look to be in their mid-20s to early 30s. From the bubbly blonde bartender to the waiter with the big smile and gauged ear, you can tell what kind of people they hire at this establishment and they people that work there tend to mirror the customer base. The price point of Fratello’s, as seen on the chalkboard the gentlemen is writing on, is in the late teens to early twenties for entrees which also gave me the idea that they were aiming for older millennials and young
