Donatello Research Paper

Donatello was born in 1386 in Florence italy. he died from a disease on December 14th 1466 in Florence as well. the renaissance artist I picked was Donatello well at least that’s what he went by. his real name was Donato di niccolo di betto bardi they called him Donatello for short. because I mean who would want to say that every time hey Donato di niccolo di betto bardi pass me the salt. by time you got done saying his name dinner would be over . But I chose him because his sculptures are interesting and he is my favorite ninja turtle. Donatello was known for creating sculptures. he also was one of the most important itallian sculptures during the renaissance. He created many pieces one of them was the stagicato. Donatello's family was your average Florentine family. he grew up going to school t that is not here he received his training. He received his training from a local goldsmith at a shop. he had his education at the home of Martelis. the Martelis were a very rich family in fact one of the richest in the time of the renaissance. his dad was di niccolo di betto bardi and his mother was orsa bardi. you would think someone with an education and parents that were married would get married but Donatello didn’t he never got married.
