Donald Trump Convention Speech Analysis

Donald Trump’s convention speech is full of racial discrimination of immigrants in the United States. He has dishonored the names of all U.S. immigrants and criticizes them. Some things he has said about immigrants are not even true yet he still blames them for everything that’s going on in the United States. The thing Trump believes and proposes is outlandish and would have negative consequences.
Trump says that immigrants are criminals, rapists, and drug dealers. According to Donald Trump’s transcript speech, he said that “nearly 180,000 illegal immigrants with criminal records, ordered deported from our country, are tonight roaming free to threaten peaceful citizens.” According to Boston Globe, Trump says that certain over ties are
“sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re sending us not the right people. It’s coming from more than Mexico. It’s coming from all over South and Latin America, and it’s coming probably — probably — from the Middle East.”

I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

The fact that Trump stated that illegal immigrants from Mexico are criminals and that they pay very little in taxes is blatantly false and therefore, an invalid argument. Illegal immigrants pay their fair share of taxes to the government. An inductive argument directly related to this is that the person hired to investigate Trump University had a Hispanic last name therefore forcing Trump to try to fire him for his Mexican heritage. Trump thinks that if all illegal Mexican are criminals and the person hired to investigate Trump University has a Hispanic last name therefore, that person must be an illegal Mexican. Trump did make some very valid arguments which are good ways to evaluate deductive arguments, in that the flow of illegal immigrants…

In one of his campaign speeches, as well as on twitter, presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused undocumented Mexican immigrants as “rapists, drug dealers, and murderers.” This accusation is heavily unfounded and extremely hurtful to the Mexican community. Maybe if Donald Trump knew that crime rates are lower with undocumented immigrants, as well as murders according to the --. Calling us rapists is another unfounded accusation when according to a Fusion investigation, 80% of Central American women have been raped while crossing the border by coyotes or even border patrol officers themselves. This is so common, in fact, that women are actually crossing while on contraceptives as a precaution.…

Another set of deciding factors are deeply engrained ideologies such as political orientation, belief that there are too many immigrants in an individual’s area, and personal levels of nationalism. This category is perhaps the greatest indicator of negative attitudes toward immigrants and opinions about high immigrant criminality. In recent years, political leanings have come to be one of the most accurate indicators of beliefs on immigrant criminality, with those who lean Liberal believing less in immigrant criminality, and those leaning towards the Right holding the opposite (Krogstad 2015). The immigration policy of your candidate Donald Trump is rooted in the idea that illegal immigrants are people who are taking our jobs, committing crimes, and bringing in illegal contraband, like drugs. He calls for the complete ejection of all illegals in our country, and the creation of “an impenetrable physical wall on the southern border”. Trump plans to force Mexico to pay for a wall that will return the illegal immigrants that Trump doesn't want. If Trump doesn't want them, why would Mexico? Trying to get someone who doesn't benefit from the creation of the wall to pay for the wall is nearly impossible, and if it does, what benefits will America have to give Mexico for the wall?…
