In Business and Politics Trump’s wide circle of influence from his business man past is palpable even in the tabloids displayed in grocery lines. David Pecker, a personal friend of Donald, owns several line of these magazines, Star, Globe, examiner, OK!, and the most famous, the Enquirer. Their connection gave and continues to give the brash politician and serious advantage with the public. Pecker’s business man career started in his teens, as a bookkeeper for local businesses. As his roles in a businesses slowly grew more and more important, he grew more and more independent, resulting in him buying off several of his mother company CBS’s magazines with a partner in 1987.
