The people’s sense of the American pride regarding issues on illegal immigration. An emotional connection to their home that he will make great again and to which, only he can do. Moreover, as a sense of logical appeal, Trump relies on the slander of his opponent, republican Ted Cruz, to further exploit his position. Donald Trump’s slogan may be “Make America Great Again” but that will never be reality with him as president. According to polls from Huffington Post on Apr. 3, 45 percent of Republicans favor Trump. With blatant statements for everything ranging from women to war, the real estate tycoon dominates over the presidential election despite being the most unqualified candidate due to his political career, or lack thereof. However, the overwhelming preference for him is distressing because he built his rhetoric on bigotry and a shaky involvement with politics.…

John Kasich Trumps his Opponent The success of a presidential candidate depends not only on what his or her stance is, but what he or she stands for. Candidate Donald Trump however, puts on more of a reality television show performance than a composed campaign in his pursuit of becoming the leader of the United States of America. Despite the horse race that this presidential election has become, John Kasich is a candidate with experience and accomplishments, innovative plans for the future, and a charismatic personality.…

Donald Trump was an unexpected runner for this year’s presidential election. At first, many people thought his running for the presidency was a joke. Unfortunately, as time went on, what many thought to be a joke suddenly became more serious as more and more people began to show him support and he shows no sign of dropping out anytime soon. Which is unfortunate since much of what he says is far from being presidential, let alone professional. From what I’ve seen of his speeches and debates, he often makes terrible statements about other candidates as well as other groups of people, building off of peoples hate to rally more support.…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

Do you agree with the assessment that Clinton’s ads were mostly devoid of policy? I was for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election, I a bit sadden to say this, but I agree with the assessment that Clinton's ads were devoid of the Policy. Maybe it's because I live in California or being bias I didn't really pay much attention to the ads running during the election, but after having watched a few of commercial being advertised Living Room Candidate web-site, https://livingroomcandidate2016.tumblr.com/archive, during this election, I can say it honestly had little or nothing to do with policies that she was for or against she mostly bad talked Donald Trump or made herself look like the better choice (pumped herself up). I understand that it is a presidential election, a lot at stake, bashing the other candidate is what they do, but to have abandoned all your morals, is concerning, I just hoped because she was the first women ever to be elected by any political…

Capturing the emotions of the American people lifted Donald trump to victory in 2016, and “Donald Trump’s Argument for America” captures the essence of the populist message he shared with the world. Trump outlines the problems with the political establishment, and empowers the people to change society. He offers himself as the only candidate with the skills necessary to cut through the establishment and put an end to the status quo that is crippling America. The ad, which runs 2 minutes (rather than typical 30-60 second poli-spots), is considered a melodrama, as it prioritizes emotional reactions over detailed characterizations of the political problems facing the United States: Donald Trump: Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt…
