Is it All Just Poppycock?
Inaccurate reporting by the media has been around long before the 2016 presidential race, but it seemed to leap into the limelight, spurred on by the most cantankerously vicious campaign in the history of American politics. There were some who finally threw up their hands in disgust, not knowing what to believe. It didn’t matter if it was printed in ink on the front page of a world-class newspaper, or spewed from the mouths of well-intending reporters televised across the globe.

When spouting off untruths and fabricated claims, newsworthy or not, President Donald Trump needs to realize how vital trust is.
With so much fabricated information floating around, that level of trust is being eroded daily. People devoid of trust begin to lose confidence in each other, totally in conflict with any goal to “make America great again”.
A Presidential Example
Our newly elected President needs to heed the advice of one of our nation’s favorite leaders. When it comes to fake news, the buck needs to stop here - here being the desk of the President of the United States. Most people accept the fact that media is going to be media. Believing that news is often reported without an underlying agenda, or ulterior motive, is naive.
