In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

Supplementing her uplifting advice, Zoe Lofgren revealed the government’s current attitude toward problems such as that of immigration. As an advocate for immigration reform, she believes that the immigration laws of today need complete change. She stated that Trump aims to deport immigrants without documentation who have either committed a crime or have filled out I-9 forms with false information. However, these two categories make up 100% of the immigrants currently living in the United States undocumented, making it impossible for him to deport all of the illegal immigrants due to their immense numbers. I fully agree with Zoe that the government needs to change the immigration laws, as they are unreasonable given the amount of immigrants and the fact that many of these immigrants simply want security by living in the nation.…

Very little has reformed from the earlier few decades when reexamining the 1992 election race for the presidency. Sulking tempers, outbursts, and verbal abuse may have reached all-time highs between candidates; however, the promises made and ideas imposed by each elective have not budged an inch. Per the National Bureau of Economic Research, ethnic diversity seems to be the major determinant for rioting in L.A., while little evidence points to poverty in the community as a large cause. (Glaeser 1) Media coverage of the riots would provide ample election exposure for the running nominees. It was this very same ethnic diversity that brings about the Black Lives Matter(BLM) activist movement in 2013, in response to the acquittal of George…

In one of his campaign speeches, as well as on twitter, presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused undocumented Mexican immigrants as “rapists, drug dealers, and murderers.” This accusation is heavily unfounded and extremely hurtful to the Mexican community. Maybe if Donald Trump knew that crime rates are lower with undocumented immigrants, as well as murders according to the --. Calling us rapists is another unfounded accusation when according to a Fusion investigation, 80% of Central American women have been raped while crossing the border by coyotes or even border patrol officers themselves. This is so common, in fact, that women are actually crossing while on contraceptives as a precaution.…

I believe that this was a good decision made by the Trump administration to enforce immigration reform. I am not saying that we should immediately get rid of all of the illegal immigrants and neither was Trump when he proposed this claim. In Trump's view, “DACA is a very, very difficult subject for me...with heart. … It’s one of the most difficult subjects I have because you have these incredible kids.” I do not know anyone apart of the DACA program but if I did I would tell them to apply for their American citizenship as soon as possible.…

With his slogan “America First” and since his presidency we all know that Donald Trump has something against immigrants. I remember one time I was at Starbucks to study for a test when I heard a conversation from the table next to me. Two elderly white gentlemen’s were talking about how our country is because of the immigrants out of control and how they take our jobs away. I mean we do have control our country so we do not have an overpopulation, but to unfairly targeting the immigrants and give them the fault is not ok neither. We need to find a way to help people who have nothing, if I would be in their position I would be happy to have support and help too.…

People fear what they do not know. Ignorance breeds intolerance. In this very moment, intolerant hands and minds are bringing about the victimization and dehumanization of a citizen of this world. In most recent news, an executive order in the United States of America was made calling for a temporary ban on visas for individuals from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia; a 120-day suspension of the resettlement of all refugees; and an indefinite ban on the resettlement of Syrian refugees.
