Donald Trump's Arguments For And Against Making Mexico Pay

Decent Essays
Donald Trump cannot stay out of the news. He is always the base of political talk. He is back again with his relatively recent trip to Mexico, he stirred up the talk. His meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto would be about the wall, or so we thought.
The Mexican people have reason to believe that Nieto is condoning Trump’s comments. For example, Trump has time and time again, said that they will build a wall in between the two countries, and make Mexico pay for it.
So, personally I am so against making Mexico pay for it. I do not have as much of a problem with the wall however. It was wrong for Trump to say anything about making Mexico pay. Mexico should not pay.
This meeting was more of a failure for Mexico then it was for

In the text it stated that “serving the U.S-Mexico relationship would be devastating to both the U.S and Mexico, to both our economies because of the number of jobs that depend on that relationship. In the U.S, he adds, about 5 million jobs depend on trade with Mexico.” Without the U.S and Mexico relationship/alliance being gone, then that means that all of those people will be left without a job because the alliance of Mexico and the U.S will be gone and other jobs that are related to the border will consequently be gone. Those are a lot of jobs that depend on their alliance and it is not fair to those people that will be affected because of that because the jobs are lost. The people also didn’t have any say in this choice whether to build the wall or not and this is important for the people to have a say in this because this act would affect them as well.…

After watching the debate, I would say that Clinton had the stronger argument. She had supported her arguments concerning gun legislation, abortion, and immigration with statistics as well as personal testimonies, which improved her credibility and allowed her character to be relatable and trustworthy. For example, on the topic of gun legislation, Clinton had related to the masses by conveying her understanding of those who wish to maintain their gun rights. After establishing this trust with the crowd, she had proceeded to refer to the events concerning gun violence as well as the amount of lives destroyed.…

Donald Trump is known far and wide as the man who wants to build a huge wall between America and Mexico to keep out immigrants. Trump believes that building a wall is going to make all the violence and issues of the country disappear but Clinton is smarter than that. Clinton wants to work on getting rid of violence all together and she understands that ones race doesn’t determine whether they are violent or not. Violence is a huge problem in this country that needs to be fixed but getting rid of a race isn’t going to fix it. When I first heard Trump say, “We have some bad hombres here, and we are going to get them out.…

In one of his campaign speeches, as well as on twitter, presidential candidate Donald Trump has accused undocumented Mexican immigrants as “rapists, drug dealers, and murderers.” This accusation is heavily unfounded and extremely hurtful to the Mexican community. Maybe if Donald Trump knew that crime rates are lower with undocumented immigrants, as well as murders according to the --. Calling us rapists is another unfounded accusation when according to a Fusion investigation, 80% of Central American women have been raped while crossing the border by coyotes or even border patrol officers themselves. This is so common, in fact, that women are actually crossing while on contraceptives as a precaution.…

Since the start of his campaign back in June "Trump The Insult Candidate" has viciously attacked and humiliated the Republican establishment, as well as manipulated the media in order to propel his own campaign forward and keep himself in a perpetual state of controversy in the hopes of outshining his competition. A true master at the fine art of shameless self-promotion, Donald Trump's outrageous behavior just to remain the focus of every nightly news cycle, kind of reminds me of when an unknown rap artist attacks Eminem because they know in doing so Eminem will write 10 retaliation raps against them, catapulting their career. Trump is employing the oldest trick in the book, using political prestidigitation to dupe the angry and uninformed into blindly following him, unfortunately for Trump political rhetoric without substance or zero knowledge of the issues can only take you so far, especially when you are battling the base of your own party. A cold hard fact Donald Trump is learning the hard way as he now begs lower tier Republicans…

With his slogan “America First” and since his presidency we all know that Donald Trump has something against immigrants. I remember one time I was at Starbucks to study for a test when I heard a conversation from the table next to me. Two elderly white gentlemen’s were talking about how our country is because of the immigrants out of control and how they take our jobs away. We need to find a way to help people who have nothing, if I would be in their position I would be happy to have support and help too.…
