It's 2017. The world has come a very long way for women in just over 100 years. You can vote; run for government; head global corporations. Women going to university is no longer seen as something unusual, it's not something they are fighting for anymore, it's perfectly normal. You can be surgeons, scientists, actors, astronauts, singers, painters. You can basically do anything men can do, and some things that they can't.
You can do all these things; but apparently, you can’t but trusted with your own bodies. One of the most powerful men in the world (Donald Trump) has decreed, now this year, that women are not fit to make their own decision on whether or not to have a baby. That women should have no control over not just their bodies but essentially the rest of their lives, because having a child is something that changes the rest of anybody’s life, and in the right place at the right time, yes, it changes it amazingly and for the better, but not every woman is a nice, middle class, lady sitting in her

Pro-choice is not necessarily pro abortion. It’s about giving a woman the right to make her own decision and not judging her if it’s the choice you may not have made because you may not know the reasons as to why she made her choice.

Women across the world marched on 21 January 2017 to make their voice heard. I believe we should listen and not be complacent because If nobody speaks out now, we will end up with a situation where there will be nobody to speak out for
