This year’s presidential election has been one of the most interesting and intense election in the history of the United States, and will be the fifty sixth election in United States history. The Presidential election will be held on November 8, 2016. The two main party candidates are Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton along with the major third party candidate, Gary Johnson. Each one of these candidates has there own views and perspectives on different topics. Donald Trump is the presidential nominee of the Republican party. Trump is a world renowned businessman and television producer. He has had a very successful career and has been driven, by his head strong personality. Clinton was born on October 26, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. Clinton attended Wellesley College, graduating in 1969, and earned a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973. After serving in the congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton in She then became the first female chairman of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978 and became the first woman partner at Rose Law Firm the next year. Then in 2000 Clinton was elected as the first female senator of New York and was re-elected into office in 2006. But in 2008 she ran for president but lost the democratic party candidate to President Obama. Since she lost she became secretary of state and helped create Obamacare. Even though Johnson is not in favor it win this election, he still has a promising outcome as a politician. Johnson was born on January 1, 1953 in Minot, North Dakota. His education consisted of attending the University of New Mexico in 1971, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. While in college he worked as a door to door handyman, which helped him want to create his own business. He also founded on of the largest construction companies, making him a well known businessman. Johnson sold his company in 1999 and it was one of the biggest companies in New Mexico’s construction industry. But Johnson’s background as a politician is very strong, he served as the twenty ninth governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2003. Also Johnson being a successful author wrote novels called Seven Principles of Good Government and People and Freedom. These books talked about politics and insight on the Libertarian Party. Then in 2012, Johnson ran for presidency under the Republican party but quickly withdrew in 2011 and ran as the liberian party candidate. Then in 2016 Johnson decided to run for president
