Donald Trump Violence Analysis

Something terrifying happened to me today. I Googled "Violence At Donald Trump Rallies" and pulled up page after page of multiple, horrifying incidents of violence breaking out at Trump rallies all over the country.

But what is perhaps even more alarming is how any sane and reasonable person can find these kinds of hateful, fear mongering, and violent outbursts along the campaign trail acceptable. Seems to me if there was this much violence at a Drake concert or the opening of a Quentin Tarantino movie, the public would be demanding for it to be shut down, yet somehow this kind of despicable behavior continues as Trump spews his hateful rhetoric. All the while these incidents are largely ignored by many, and maybe even silently applauded by some. And just like with mass shootings, I

Is it any wonder that the Republican Politicians once thought of as dangerous ideological zealots, like Ted Cruz, are even scared of Trump and working with others in the GOP in an attempt to derail any chance of him becoming their nominee.

At a Trump rally in St.Louis Friday, violence once again erupted as counter-protesters were violently engaged by Trump supporters who were yelling such hateful comments as “F*** you, F*** Islam,”. As parties were detained by police from both sides of the conflict, and one man was seen covered in blood, it all just seems to be business as usual for a Presidential Campaign that has broken all the rules.

Adding fuel to the fire, Trump was quick to remark to the crowd,

These are not good people, just so you understand, these are not the people who made our country great. These are the people that are destroying our

Even given the setting WWI provides, & the natural nationalism that typically spurs from such occasions usually allows for momentous pride through the nation, however, even in moments of unity for the American people there is still opportunity for the nature of the countries darker roots to emerge. image Although our main historical focus did not occur till 1919 it has its roots in 1915 with the release of The Birth Of A Nation. This film worked to “exploit the sexual stereotypes imposed on black males with the intent to reestablish the mentality of white supremacy.” This opened up the opportunity for many whites of this time to lean heavily on their preferences for all white neighborhoods, schools , restaurants and other establishments.…

(Andrews, 2014, p. 288). Ideologies such as “conservatism” and “radicalism” hold opposing views as to how they perceive “riots” and their effect on society,. We can look at riots from particular perspectives by examining social order and disorder through “riots” and their relationship to the political ideologies of “conservatism” and “radicalism”. Very little has reformed from the earlier few decades when reexamining the 1992 election race for the presidency. Sulking tempers, outbursts, and verbal abuse may have reached all-time highs between candidates; however, the promises made and ideas imposed by each elective have not budged an inch. Per the National Bureau of Economic Research, ethnic diversity seems to be the major determinant for rioting in L.A., while little evidence points to poverty in the community as a large cause. (Glaeser 1) Media coverage of the riots would provide ample election exposure for the running nominees. It was this very same ethnic diversity that brings about the Black Lives Matter(BLM) activist movement in 2013, in response to the acquittal of George…

In the article, “Is Violence the Way to fight Racism?,” Peter Singer, the author argues about the tragedy brought by violent protests that caused death and injuries to society. The author goes on to say that non-violent protesters even support violence after the tragic event from Charlottesville. In this article, Trump stated the problem that risen in Charlottesville was to blame on both white supremacists and non-violence protesters because he didn’t want white supremacists who started violently to take all the blame. Lastly, Singer claims that non-violent won’t solve the problem and need to find a better solution. Although some people believe that using violence can only bring peace, people shouldn’t use violence, and they should know that…

Standing and leaning possibly too far over the second-level railings, I could see the evolving situation. A tall, dark skinned man was standing on his seat towards the front of the rally, holding a sign reading “Trump’s a racist” as he yelled the same message. The surrounding supporters begin to scream profane and racist remarks, clawing at the man until he fell off his chair. Swiftly intercepted by security, the man was paraded down the rally isles towards the back doors. The man sitting next to me stood up, moved up against the railings, and, with both middle fingers promptly in use, screamed “we don’t need your kind here” – which prompted applause and cheer.…
