It seems as though every time you look at the news President Trump is making headlines for the outrageous things he’s done. So what has Trump done now? This time, he has continued on his obvious discriminatory acts by ending TPS (Temporary Protected Status), a humanitarian program that allows people from unsafe countries to legally stay in America until conditions in the home country have resolved. After an earthquake in 2001 left thousands of Salvadorans homeless, TPS was enacted to allow them to stay and work here in America legally. I believe Hilary Clinton won the final presidential debate. Clinton’s performance was more persuasive than Trump’s because she spoke with sophistication and intelligences. This country can go in two directions. The first way is up, with Clintons ideas and views I believe our country can become great and everything from trade to economy can thrive. The second way is down, with Trumps and his ideas to build a wall to keep immigrants out and his lack of commence sense and human decency.…

In addition, Trump’s abusive tactics on how treats others, puts the U.S. in a unhealthy relationship with the world. To start, Trump has a problem with criticizing and punishing foreign leaders that don’t agree with or comply with his stances and demands. Trump’s proposal of establishing a 20% import tax coming from the U.S.-Mexican boarder is a prime example. It is a coercive measure “that is nothing more than a symbolic chokehold, punishing Mexico’s Government for noncompliance. Possible policies such as the implied tax increase are anything but presidential, considering only Trump’s demands instead of The United States overall global relationships” (Rodriguez-Cayro).…

He has a very big following of white working-class citizens who are misguided because of moral disengagement. This is when individuals and organizations trick themselves into believing that their thoughts about others are justified. However, there is no rationality to these thoughts and fears and no justice behind what actions they take whether it be verbal or physical. This travel ban is a perfect example of moral disengagement because when the Trump administration was accused of being unjust and discriminatory, they attempted to justify their actions by saying it was for national security. With that being said, there is a better possibility that it has increased the threat of terrorism Diversity is something that has brought many people into this country together, as well as showed other nations the strength that we have, but by shutting the doors we have begun to weaken this country through fear.…
