Donald Trump Should Not Be President

Decent Essays
In the editorial, “Why Donald Trump Should Not Be President,” by the Editorial Board from The New York Times, we see that Donald Trump proposed a pledge of a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslim immigrants. This is racism. I completely agree with that. As a leader, he should be welcoming and accepting of all races and religions. Making judgments and announcing rude comments is all that comes out of his mouth. He is anti-immigrant, nativist and racist. He wants to deport all undocumented immigrants back across a border wall paid for by Mexico. Why is Mexico paying for their border wall? He makes a comment about Mexican “rapists” flooding across the Southern border. He is making stereotypes of Mexicans and discriminating them.

Parallel Comparison Humanity is still highly infested with groups of people who want to wipe out other groups of people. Unlike Immaculee Illibagiza, I’d find it difficult to forgive people who would dare to wipe out a group of people especially my people. In a similar way, a particular person that I think negative about at this point in time is Mr. Donald Trump. I disagree with his Mexican-immigration stance in this year’s Presidential Election. The reason for this is because he has expressed this idea where he plans to deport Mexican-immigrants.…

A federal judge in San Francisco recently suspended plans to end the DACA program which was started by the preceding administration. As a result, Trump’s administration through the U.S. Civil and Immigration Services decided to accept renewal applications for temporary protection from deportation for immigrants brought to the country as children. The move by the government is seen to be a countermeasure to relieve the people’s furor over President Trump’s outburst on why the country must accept immigrants from certain ‘shithole’ countries. The statement was offensive to those doubting his leadership and raise the issue of the president being racist. This did not come as a surprise as Trump has, in the past, uttered statements that compromise…

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Sunday bristled at the notion that her boss, President Donald Trump, is racist. “I take a little offense to allegations that the president is racist,” Nielsen said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.” Trump sparked a firestorm of criticism this week when he reportedly questioned why the U.S. accepted immigrants from “shithole countries” in Africa as well as from Haiti and El Salvador during an immigration reform meeting with lawmakers at the White House. The quote was later confirmed by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), who attended the meeting.…

It seems whenever anyone disagrees with Democrats or their socialism, immediately these folks exercising their free speech are called "racists". Worse, in this case CNN (some call it the Clinton News Network) had commentators on Cable TV claiming that it was true, that Trump is a racist. I my view it is totally racist to believe you can lie to the African-American Community and believe they are so stupid that they will vote for you just because you call someone a racist. Using African-Americans for their votes is completely racists, it's targeting a specific race and lying to them because they believe they are ignorant.…

Domestic tranquility in the United States is outlined by the Constitution and can be better understood as the way in which society lives in harmony (Wilson). Unfortunately, society has not reached a state of tranquility yet. This can be traced to ideas of racism, sexism, and other means of discrimination in the United States. Although some strides have been made to try and counteract these modes of discrimination, society has recently taken a step back in its development towards a tranquil state. Specifically, the rhetoric used by Donald Trump has been linked to ideas of racism and sexism.…
