There are various titles that Donald Trump held over the span of his prestigious life which include the exceptional titles of the celebrity, the billionaire, the innovator, the constructor, and the reality television personality, but the most surprising by far is the leader of the Republican Party for the U.S. presidency. After years of speculation, Trump finally declared that he was running to be America’s successor to President Obama on June 16, 2015. While his run was initially viewed as a publicity stunt, Trump became the torchbearer of the Republican Party in July. Because of his business background, the voter should elect Trump. Since Trump had business setbacks such as business bankruptcy, Trump has skeptics. According to the business magazine Forbes’ website, Trump has filed for business bankruptcy quadruple times in 1991, 1992, 2004, and 2009, however, Trump has a higher personal net worth currently than he did prior to his bankruptcies. As a matter of fact, according to the magazine Atlantic’s The Wire political section, in 1989, which was recorded precedent to his business bankruptcies, Trump held a net worth of three billion dollars, however, the magazine Forbes’ website states that presently his net worth is four billion dollars six years succeeding his final business bankruptcy. Despite the fact that Trump has endured through four business bankruptcies, Trump has acquired more money than he had before the bankruptcies. According to the website usdebtclock.org, a site that records an entirety of America’s debts, America amassed a debt of almost nineteen trillion dollars, and because Trump had a personal financial redemption following setbacks, he can assist America with attaining economic redemption following the country’s tribulations.
