Donald Trump Persuasive Speech

Improved Essays
I think the discussion was good and brought a lot of important parts of this event to light. I believe we did not talk about the real reason this happened. We all understood who the KKK and Nazi’s are. We also understand that they marched to spew hatred and express their beliefs about the statue. However, no one spoke about the connection between the March itself and Donald Trump. I am not saying that Donald Trump orchestrated the march, but I am saying Trumps Presidency has incited this hatred that was openly expressed. In Trump's first campaign tour, he rallied supporters by saying racist things about Mexicans and Black people. The slogan “Build the Wall” not only is idiotic, it presents a vivid divisions between Mexicans and white Americans.

The two parties were protesting for their own rights. The white supremacy was protesting for the fact that different races have the same rights as them, and that they are sharing the same country of a different races. In addition, the opposing party was fighting for their own rights, and they were protesting against the opposing party. The white supremacy group was motivated and captivated by Donald Trumps campaign when he was running for president. My opinion on this would be that the white supremacy group was taking it to far and where abusing their rights of protesting.…

Florida megachurch pastor Paula White has earned criticism after she said U.S. President Donald Trump is “authentically raised up by God” and even compared his election to the biblical story of Queen Esther. In an appearance on the PTL Network’s “The Jim Bakker Show” broadcast on Aug. 22, Pastor White likened Trump’s rise to the presidency to Queen Esther’s coronation as a respected queen even though she was an unlikely candidate for the position. She spoke in the wake of the president’s speech about the plan to increase U.S. military presence in Afghanistan, Religion News Service relays. “They say about our president, 'Well, he is not presidential.'…

If the Newseum is torn down, the first amendment will not have a place to be celebrated just for itself, so there will be no place to celebrate the first American Constitutional freedom. President Trump is pressuring Congress into passing a bill that will start a project to make room for new monuments. The project will consist of tearing down monuments that the government feels are unnecessary. The project will ruin DC and the American spirit. If the bill does pass, the Newseum should definitely not be torn down since it is a reminder of what America is, it will have horrible economic effects on the country, and tearing it down will diminish the American spirit.…

Generally attributed to Mark Twain is the saying that politicians are like nappies in that they need to be changed regularly and for the same reason. And across the Atlantic, in the Land of the Free, it is almost changing time. Predictably, the Clinton and Bush dynasties still feel they haven’t made enough of a mark on US politics, and their representatives, Hillary and Jeb, respectively, are desperate to secure their party’s nomination.…

After reviewing my persuasive speech over why the University of Oklahoma is the best university in the nation, I would sum up my speech as a little bit of train wreck. Although I made good claims with factual evidence, the amount of stuttering I did, and all the times I was choked up throughout the speech drew my audience’s attention away. From this, I lost my audience’s belief that I was competent of the information I was reiterating to them. At the introduction of my speech I believe I started out fairly strong and gave a good run down of the coming speech.…
