Donald Trump is a great business man, but would he make a great president? The answer to that I believe is yes. “In his recent book, “Crippled America,” he said of his decision to run for the White House, “I had no choice. I see what’s happening to our country; it’s going to hell.”” (Davidson 18). Donald Trump isn’t running for President for personal gain, but for the sake of the American people. My personal reasons for voting for Trump are: his actions of putting America first, and his actions in K-12 issues. “My foreign policy will always put the interests of the American people and American security above all else. It has to be first. Has to be.” (Trump 161). Donald Trump has the well-being of the American people in mind. Donald would …show more content…
And to put Americans first again.” (161). America was once one of the richest and strongest countries in the world; Trump intends to do all that is in his power to restore it. Donald Trump hasn’t made many of his thoughts and plans on K-12 education very clear, but he has made a few things very clear. “Since he began running for president last year, Trump has made one position he holds on education very clear: He despises the Common Core State Standards and has repeatedly pledged to get rid of them.” (Ujifusa 1). Common Core is one of the worst things to happen to public school education. It takes away from the quality of education that children are able to receive, because the focus of the teacher is not on the students but on the paperwork they have to complete. This is because government officials who have never stepped foot inside of a class room past the age of which they graduated college have no idea what it takes to teach a class and complete all the paperwork. Trump has ideas of his own, “We’ll have school boards, and we’ll have local. We’re not going to have it through Washington.” (Ujifusa 19). Trump wants to remove the influence of government in

It has now been one year during Trump’s time in presidency, and it would seem as though that his administration has yet to hit any of the big milestones that promised during their campaign. While they did gain some small victories in the past, it does not seem as though they would it big as of now. Even so, they still face nonstop backlash towards their approach to our government’s lawmaking and policymaking ideals. And yet, they will still continue to move forward, and stay on the same agenda, to which is the path of a businessman whom seeks out for a wealthy and stronger America. In fact, this is quite similar to what our previous president, known as Richard Reagan, had in mind as well.…

Donald Trump should not be president for the year 2016. First of all, what amazingly beneficial things will he do for America? He is a republican; he cares not for America and all of her citizens but for money and if he becomes president America will be ruined. Trump is not a man with the experience of war, or being in charge of a whole country and all the people in it, but a man of business and economy. Also if he is elected for the leader of our country, and if he has the generosity, he could get all of the citizens of America out of debt.…

My friends, I do not wish to upset you regarding the ideals of the presidential election. With your level of intelligence and patriotism, I can only assume that the right decision will be made in your hands. I feel as if it is my duty to alert you of my views on this subject. You, who lives in this country as much as I do, who watches the fireworks on the Fourth, celebrates the freedom we have thanks to thousands of men and women who have fought for such things, who stands with their hand on their heart to say the Pledge of Allegiance, if I were to speak to you against what is best for this country, some may call it treason.…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

Donald J. Trump has lashed out at fellow Republicans, calling them “disloyal” and “far more difficult” than Hillary Clinton. He has griped openly about a “rigged” political system, saying Wednesday he has “no respect” for the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates and complaining about a “defective” microphone in the first debate. And on Monday, at a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he worried the election could be “stolen” from him and singled out Philadelphia, a city with a large African-American population, warning, “We have to make sure we’re protected.” Mr. Trump’s ominous claims of a “stolen election” — which he often links to black, urban neighborhoods — are not entirely new.…

Donald Trump is an American businessman and politician elected as a President of the United States. Trump was elected on November 8, 2016, and he has managed to build his fortune and reputation. The most obvious reasons for his election was his tax proposal. He has a tax plan reforms that would significantly reduce marginal tax rates for both individual and business, increase standard deduction to nearly four-time current level, or repeal some tax expenditure, both individual and corporate alternative of US companies in the year they are earned. This proposal would reduce the federal revenue by $9.5 trillion over its first decade before accounting for added interest cost or considering macroeconomic feedback effect.…
