As most citizens of America know, Donald Trump is running for president as a possible Republican candidate. According to the polls from RealClear Politics, Trump has a six-point lead against his opposing Republican candidate, Ben Carson. Donald Trump is continuously gaining the support of the Republican Party members. Though, some Americans may think Donald Trump is fit to be president, that is simply not so. Trump becoming president would cause our country serious trouble due to the fact that, he is barely even a Republican, his experience as a chief executive officer will not help him in office, and he cannot keep or maintain the promises he makes in his speeches. Donald Trump claims to be a conservative, but he is nothing of the sort. Actually, he has registered as a Democrat for most of this past decade. In past interviews, Trump said that a majority of his political contributions went to members of the Democratic Party, even Hillary …show more content…
This has led many Americans to believe that maybe a CEO’s (Chief Executive Officer) experience is just what we need. Leaders of large and significant companies have some skills in common with that of the president. They need to be clever, informed on relevant issues, capable of managing a staff, and competent to speak effectively to personnel inside and outside of their organization. The duties of the United States president differ in critical ways from the duties of a CEO. The president’s manpower does not work exclusively for him or her. CEOs have total control over decisions, while the president has to go through two branches of government to get approval. Career civil servants are a component of the Executive Branch, but often times, are more considerate of what Congress will require of them, than what the president will.
