As you can see, these words of wisdom and passion do not come from the likes of former Presidents like JFK. No, no, no. It’s from the one and only, Donald Trump! Now, to claim Trump is this one-off phenomenon, whose ideology can only succeed in that racist, gun happy place known as the U.S., is uninformed. Laugh, cheer, or spit if you please, but similar ideas to Donald’s have become both popular and successful globally. He is an example of what people want these days from their politicians.
Touting how he will “make America great again”, Trump has promised to bring China and Mexico down a peg, with renegotiations of trade deals and policies. One of his main promises has been renegotiating NAFTA, a free trade agreement between the U.S, Mexico and Canada. According to a Gallup Poll, only 37% of Americans think NAFTA has had a positive effect, while 53% say it has had a negative effect. Cite

They may be right, but keep in mind, these “experts” also said a candidate couldn’t win if he supported civil rights in the 1960’s. Just some food for thought, LBJ, who passed civil rights, won the 1964 U.S Presidential election by the fifth largest margin in history.
Now does a ban on Muslims deserve to be in the same sentence as Civil Rights? No! Is Donald Trump a complete idiot? Yes! Even by my own admission, Trump is a complete racist and a borderline fascist. As an American, I pray that he doesn’t win.
Ignorance is however, not bliss. Trump may not win, but that doesn’t mean his type ideology is all of sudden unpopular and dead. The data and trends simply suggest otherwise. Donald Trump is simply an example of what voters across the globe want from their politicians. They may not call Rossie O’donnel a “fat pig” or call Jeb Bush as “dumb as a rock”, but they sure will share many similarities to Donald
