Misconceptions about Donald J. Trump and why I support him
Donald trump as had lots of misconceptions painted on him lately. He has been painted as a racist and sexist. He has also not received credit for many of his policies. In the next few paragraphs, I will inform the readers about Donald trump, and why many of these misconceptions are complete and utterly false. Let’s start with sexism and racism. I bet many of you believe this true, but if you understand what these words mean you would understand he is not. Sexism’s definition is the feeling that the opposite sex is lesser of your sex (in this case the belief men are greater than women). This is a complete and utter false statement when it comes to Donald Trump. Mr. Trump has also

With understanding of what Trump says you will understand that he is not racist to any race. Donald trump has treated every person, no matter race, religion, or belief the exact same (with the exception of Rosie O’Donnell). You may say Donald is racist to the Hispanic race. This is completely false. Donald Trump only dislikes illegal immigrants. He has no problem with immigrants coming to the United States of America with proper paperwork and documentation. Mr. Trump states that he wants to deport all illegal aliens in the United States which is a great idea because all the illegal immigrants are technically criminals and should be removed from the United States. If you believe this as wrong think of an intruder living in your home for free. Would you like this? No... Okay well this is how all illegal immigrants are. If the person was a resident it would be completely alright but they are not and therefore they are criminals in the United State. Statistics show that more crimes that happen are caused by illegal immigrants. So when Donald trump states that these people are criminals, it is a true statement. (Although illegal aliens make up 3.5% of the US population they account for 7% of federal prison sentences following convictions on charges of sexual abuse, 9% of murders, 12% of assaults and 30% of

Recently at one of his rallies, he bashed at one of his own supporters simply because her baby began to cry. This shows that if Donald Trump was agitated at a simple, innocent thing, one can imagine the trouble, he would cause to America if a conflict…

In their article "Is America More Divided by Race or Class?", Sean McElwee, Jesse Rhodes, and Brian Schaffner discuss whether the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States was influence more by race or class. Specifically, they use research to dissect how race and class influence political affiliation. Donald Trump being elected was influenced by the intersection of class and race because when people began to look into the demographics that voted for him they found that working class whites propelled him in polls which made people question whether his victory was a result of the economic condition in the United States. Others argued that his victory was solely based on his ignorant comments about race, but the fault…

Trump believes that illegal immigration is destroying U.S. taxpayers, and he believes that neither Republicans nor Democrats are helping the situation. Republicans don’t do anything about illegal immigration because some of their business supporters want cheap labor. Democrats look at illegal immigrants as potential Democratic voters (135-136). Both Democrats and Republicans may have their reasons for illegal immigrants to stay, but Donald Trump thinks that the parties need to put America’s interests first and that illegal immigrants need to return from whence they came. Trump then continues to discuss that illegal immigrants are by definition, lawbreakers, and refers to them as “illegal aliens” due to the fact that illegal immigrants are often members or violent gangs.…

Politically we live in a quite polarizing time. Between the two viable presidential candidates and an equal amount of dissatisfaction of those candidates on both sides, the fate of this country is seemingly up in the air. Though the election holds a discernable amount of media coverage and attention of the public every term the media coverage of this particular election has been dominated by the hateful rhetoric and call to violence of a particular candidate. The candidate calling for this violence is Donald Trump, he on multiple occasions has called for violence against protesters telling his audience how he would like to see them “punched or maimed”. Encouraging his supporters to do so by promising to cover their legal fees if they get arrested…

Immigration today is not so different then what it was in the early 1900s. Many of the immigrants that come from Mexico and cross the border into America want a better life for their families back home. Some want to escape the violence that occurs in their country or poverty. Immigrants from Mexico face the same discrimination immigrants from the early 1900s faced today. Many Americans fear that there jobs are in danger from cheap labor by Mexican immigrants.…

This shows the purpose of Trump’s side of the argument, which is that he wants to improve America by reducing illegal immigration rates by having a permanent border wall and increase fees on all border crossings. Following up on his belief, Trump wants to construct the new immigration policy that will, in his opinion, return the safety of laws for the American people. The immigration policy also proposes the mandatory return of all criminal aliens currently subsiding in the United States. Trump recognized the Obama Administration for releasing 76,000 aliens from custody of committing criminal convictions since 2013, but still wants to continue on that action by having all criminal aliens to be deported to their home countries by cancelling visas and adding an additional committed crime to being in a country illegally (Trump 3). This further contributes to Trump’s purpose to reduce illegal immigration in the United States and putting all American citizens as a priority in this country.…

With his slogan “America First” and since his presidency we all know that Donald Trump has something against immigrants. I remember one time I was at Starbucks to study for a test when I heard a conversation from the table next to me. Two elderly white gentlemen’s were talking about how our country is because of the immigrants out of control and how they take our jobs away. I mean we do have control our country so we do not have an overpopulation, but to unfairly targeting the immigrants and give them the fault is not ok neither. We need to find a way to help people who have nothing, if I would be in their position I would be happy to have support and help too.…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

The decreasing trend also affects the nature of Mexican illegal immigrants. Addressing the first principle, he wants to fortify the United States’ southern border by constructing a wall along the border, and wants the Mexican government to pay for the wall. Secondly, the laws that the American government makes regarding immigration need to upheld and no one is above the law. In order to do so, Trump calls for “tripling the Immigrant and Customs Enforcement officers, e-verifying the nation, mandatory return of all criminal aliens, the detainment of illegals caught crossing the border, the defunding of sanctuary cities, enhance penalties for those who overstay their visa, cooperate with local task gang task forces, and end birthright citizenship” (“Immigration Reform”). Lastly, Donald Trump wants to use legislation to put American workers first. In this assignment I will attempt to unpack Donald Trump’s logic in the tweet above. Explicitly, Trump’s tweet in its current arrangement appears to be a disjunctive/hypothetical syllogism hybrid: P1: We, as a country, either have borders or we don 't. C : If we don 't have borders, we don 't have a country. Being charitable and filling in implicit premises, Trump’s argument takes on the following format: P1: All countries have borders P2:…
