During his political campaign Donald had different stance on how he was going to prevent potential threats from entering into the country. His first stance was to bar immigrants based on their religion. Muslim’s were the main target of Mr. Trump’s remarks. However, he gave no statement as to how he would be able to do this as religion is not easily identified. If America was to ban countries with a Muslim population over fifty percent, then 46 countries would be marked. The result would be nearly one million immigrants prevented each year. Later into his political campaign the president elect changed his stance to focus on countries with a proven history of terrorism against the United States.
