When running for president in the United States, it is difficult to give your position on issues and attempt to appeal to every citizen in the country, because everyone has different interests and different point of views on the issues. Therefore, it is evident that people are what is wrong with government, nevertheless the presidential candidates must attempt to set up their political campaign and appeal to the majority of the population to succeed in their race to the White House. In government, emotion and logic play a major role in the decisions made. Emotions enable many social issues to be resolved and it is mainly practiced by the Democratic party. However, as a student who is trying to receive a college degree and obtain a job, it becomes more evident that money is exhaustible. Therefore, I view the increase of illegal immigrants in the workforce as a negative effect since it will cause the demand for jobs to be high and wages to be low putting me at a risk of not being able to obtain a part-time job while studying in college. Furthermore, I understand that there are families with illegal family members and people who plan to move to the United States who do not agree with Donald Trump’s position on the issue, but it is logical to place the American citizens first in the law making process of this country.
