Donald Trump Environmental Issues

After keeping up with the 2016 Presidential Election and researching where President Elect Donald Trump stands on issues, I have a few concerns with the future of our country. I am concerned with what he will do about the following issues: Gun Control, Immigration, and Global Warming. I hope he can take these concerns into consideration. One of my concerns for Donald Trump is that he will keep guns out of criminals’ hands. He says he would like to minimize gang violence and make the streets safer, but I am concerned that he will not take the guns away from gangs to stop violence on the street. I feel like he is all talk when it comes to gun violence but that he won’t do anything to stop the crimes that happen due to convicts having guns. He could demand that all gun sales have a thorough background check before a customer is allowed to purchase a gun, so that it will be less likely for someone to get a gun if they have caused several crimes. Secondly, I am concerned with how President Elect Donald Trump will handle Immigration. I feel that he will deport immigrants even if they have been living quiet lives and have a job. If someone …show more content…
President Elect Donald Trump did not seem to care that much about climate change. I have a feeling that he will turn a blind eye to the fact that our earth is getting destroyed. He needs to accept the reality that the temperature is rising and it is the result of humans. He does not acknowledge the well known fact that Global Warming is real, and it is changing the climate rapidly! President Elect Donald Trump needs to do something about the environment.
To wrap it all up, I am anxious about what our future president will do with the previous topics. These are not only my concerns, but concerns of many American Citizens. I hope he can acknowledge these and make adjustments to his plan of action. I am excited to see what changes President Elect Donald Trump will make to our great

Who would make a better President? The candidate who offends people because of where they come from and what their beliefs are, or the candidate who believes that immigrants who come into this country are looking for a better future and is willing to do anything and everything in her power to make everyone feel equal. Would you rather have the candidate that has no political experience, or the candidate that has thirty-five years under her belt? For example Hillary Clinton served as the first lady from 1993 to 2001. In 2000 she was elected as the first female senator.…

Every president makes promises while they campaign for the office but once they are sworn into office the act of governing can cause them to lose sight of promises for more important or pressing matter. President Donald Trump made a very ambitious plan for his first 100 days in office. This plan touched on many of the promises that were made during the campaign, proving that the voices of his base had not been forgotten. Many on the left have criticized President Trump for the plan stating that he would be unable to deliver on all of it. And while these concerns many be legitimate it is far more productive to look at what President Trump has accomplished since he has taken office.…

The most interesting and most terrifying aspect of Trump's incoming presidency is that not a single person, including Donald Trump, really knows how the next four years will unfold. Sure, the future can't be predicted, but there hasn't been a single presidency that was this unpredictable in my lifetime. Honestly, everyone knew that Barack Obama was going to break barriers as the first black president, as well as stop at nothing to pass his worthless healthcare bill, the Affordable Care Act. Most people thought that G.W. Bush would follow most of the same guidelines as his party and his father who held office previously, which he did. But Donald Trump was the scapegoat of the media as well as many strong political figures, only to prove every…

Despite the fact many tend to ignore the problems involving the environment the truth is the environment has been and will always be the most important factor world wide. Now when it comes to talking about the ex president George Bush and his connection towards the environment I would have never imaged that he actually achieved some benifsale actions. Well, according to Levi a formal CBS journalist some accomplishments regarding the environment would be that “Since 2001, air pollution has dropped by 12%. The strictest air quality standards in American history are now in place – as are strong regulations on power plant and diesel engine emissions. And More than 3.6-million acres of wetlands have been protected, restored or improved.…

After the presidential election, Donald Trump was elected president. Riots broke out, feminists cried, and some people moved to Canada. Honestly trump isn't that bad, he can't start a war in the next 4 years (hopefully), every law and bill he can make has to go through the supreme court, and he cannot change the amendments. So he doesn't really have that much power. So my three issues for trump are wars, taxes, and the wall.…
