Presidential Debate

I felt many ways about the presidential debate. I felt angry, sad, disrespected, and helpless. I felt angry because I really do not understand why Donald Trump is running for president. I really feel that he is not fit to run a country. He is one big phony. I personally don’t think he cares about anybody but himself. The reason I felt angry is because I feel he stuck on Clinton’s past and did not focus on what matters now.

When it come down to who won the debate Trump won. Others have Trump debate had a lot of strong points. He was well prepared. He came hard, and also he came for Clinton and once he started he didn’t back off. Others agreed with more of what Trump said. The crowd

There is one man who should become the next president of the United States and that man is Gary Johnson. Johnson understands that this race will be tough, for he sees that his opponents have large followings and hold great influence over America. I would also have to agree with his one this point. There are also polls to support this opinion. “A CNN/ORC poll of debate watchers released after the event found 62% felt Clinton won compared to 27% for Trump.”. In the beginning of the debate Trump was strong with his arguments. He made good points about the economy and jobs.…

Although he didn’t stand out in the debate as a winner, his nonverbal communication cues showcased him in bright light. He had open body language even when addressing questions directed at his character. That along with his tall posture his demeanor screamed confidence all around. His verbal cues were a little different, referencing the bible when talking about how he’d change taxes to tithing system which seemed a little too strong of a religious element in the government. Carson also used, in my opinion, too much “you” language in getting his point across.…

Interestingly, this also may have been Trump’s best performance. Trump appeared more presidential than he has ever appeared, though that is not saying much. He rarely attacked or insulted people (though he did get mad at the audience, claiming they were planted to boo him), refused to draw red lines, and even made some good points, such as drawing attention to the use of eminent domain in the Keystone XL pipeline (though, he lost that exchange in the conventional…

On September 26, there was a presidential debate between Republican nominee Donald Trump, and Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton. The debate was structured into six, fifteen minute sections, which had three broad sections, being; Achieving prosperity, America's direction, and securing America. The moderator for the debate was Lester Holt, a reporter from NBC News. Within the event I was an observer, I had absolutely no change on the outcome of the debate. The debate was intended to be a well-mannered form of communication between the candidates in order to get their main points across and sway the opinion of the voter to their side.…

The Vice Presidential debate that occurred on October 4th 2016 was important to people across the united states. It is clear that many citizens are undecided on who to vote for, the point of this debate was to give clarity to voters and to reassure the American people of their views. I was hoping this debate would be better than the presidential debate however it seemed to be the same; Tim Kaine interrupting and Mike Pence constantly being on the defense. Despite the interruptions both candidates made a few good points that are essential to consider when making a decision. Both sides made strong arguments.…

Five presidential candidates took to the stage on October 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada for the first Democratic Debate moderated by Anderson Cooper. A large percentage of American voters were surprised to learn how many candidates would be on the debate stage considering the polls and media have been dominated by only two candidates. Hillary Clinton the former Secretary of State, and Senator Bernie Sanders a self-described Socialist were joined by three virtually unheard-of candidates: Martin O'Malley the former Governor of Maryland, Lincoln Chaffee the former Rhode Island Governor, and Jim Webb, a US veteran and former Senator from Virginia. This debate was the first and potentially last opportunity for some of the candidates to make a name for…
