There are big political figures in the world today all over the globe. However, some of the biggest political figures in the world are the United States Presidents. Furthermore, some of the most controversial presidents we have had was President Nixon and President Trump. They are very similar and different in many ways including their childhood, schooling, and business life before becoming a president of the United States. Donald Trump is our former President and has had a great life. He was born in New York, New York and was born into a rich family. His parents owned a real estate company and had made millions from the company. This jumpstart pushed Trump further than most people. Trump was a very successful student and attended many and expensive colleges. The colleges he attended were Wharton, Fordham, New York Military …show more content…
Both Nixon and Trump were Republican presidents. Not only that but they both excelled in schooling and went to multiple colleges. Their lives might have been different but they both saw and fought for the same things as President. They did have major differences in their life though. The majority of which was during their early childhood and how and where they grew up. Trump was born into rich well-known family while Nixon was born poor onto a farm. They ultimately had different goals in life leading up to their Presidency. Trump was working hard to increase his family’s business and expand it as much as possible while Nixon was working hard to overcome many obstacles. Not to mention his time during the World War. In the end they were very much more alike than different. Many news articles have compared President Trump’s doings to those of Nixon’s. Not only that but Nixon really liked Trump. Nixon even wrote a letter to Trump after seeing him on tv and the letter said that if Trump ever ran for president he would be great
