Donald Trump Scandal Analysis

It seems this election, it is another day, another scandal for both of our candidates. Recently, a former Apprentice contestant, Summer Zervos, accused Donald Trump of sexual assault. Zervos was a contestant during the 2005 season, and later met with Donald Trump to possibly become an employee at Trump’s business. It was during this time period that Trump allegedly made numerous inappropriate advances towards Zervos. In reference to Trump, Zervos stated,“You treated me as though I was an object to be hit upon”. However, this is not Donald Trump’s first rodeo. The Republican nominee has had to deal with his fair share of scandals, and his most recent sexual assault allegation will most likely not be the last scandal Trump will encounter. With the amount of television networks with their own set of experts and analysts, it is easy to find different opinions on T.V . While people will give weight to Clinton and Trump if they have to defend a scandal, television networks can often be an extension of those candidates or their ideals. One can easily find a journalist on T.V agreeing with their assumptions and beliefs. The problem is that once most people find that source, they will not want to change the channel and they lose any desire to get a full picture of the severity of the scandal and/or it’s veracity. In addition, the way networks bombard viewers with information about a scandal can raise apathy towards the a future scandal of similar nature.
