Recently, the polls opened for voters to cast their decision on the United States Presidency position. One of the candidates, Mr. Donald Trump is in the lead on the Republican Party side. Donald Trump has outright stated his opinions on different ethnic cultures, incited rage within his rallies and even proposed building a wall to separate the United States from Mexico. One issue that Donald Trump wants to address is the visa system used by international students and their work privileges. Trump wants to reform the process of giving out green cards, he wants to put a hold on that process so that employers will hire domestically first. 2. Will Trump’s ideas effect enrollment for international students on EIU campus?
3. Will degree programs such as information technology and engineering suffer from the lack of international students? Which ones?
4. How many international students are currently enrolled in the programs and how is the current program structured for work after graduation?
5. What effect would not being able to work or put on hold to work in the United States do to a foreign student?

These students come from all from different backgrounds, and geographical locations. Various student organizations are geared toward providing an outlet to other students to experience their particular culture such as Latin American Student Organization, Black Student Union, and African Student Association as well as various Greek life organizations. These organizations put on events within the EIU community and based on interviews with these members of these organizations, diversity in regards to the people who attend these events is lacking. Some students feel that EIU is highly segregated when it comes to social events. This does not include large scale events such as Welcome Back Weekend or Homecoming. Members of these niche organizations cannot seem to attract audiences from different cultures and this has become a problem with not just attendance regarding event numbers but also stereotype labels placed on events and people and segregation on
