I want to point out that this issue angers many Americans, and especially foreigners. So I don’t understand why Trump would want to hurt himself like this. Although it did interest me when the article stated a “small number of travelers” would be affected. If this is true then why is the public making such a big deal about this?

Trump has named Syrians the biggest threat but many of immigrants coming from there are fleeing war. The article says later that the government might review some cases and allow travel to those who are “claiming religious persecution”. This is something many immigrants could lie about which would make the ban inefficient. Another expectation from the travel ban the article point out, was entry if a person “is deemed in the national interest”. So now it’s a pick and choose kind of scenario? And it goes on to say that it is not “clear how that exemption might be applied”. This is really a stupid thing to do in my opinion. If you plan to carry out a major executive decision like this, it might be a good idea to make every detail as clear as possible.
There are too many holes in Trump’s travel ban and it’s not making the United States anymore popular among other nations. I don’t neglect the fact that this may be what we need in order to bring an end to terror acts but I wondering what kinds of damage we will deal as a result of this. I think a greater evil lurks in the streets, inside the border. In my opinion, President Trump’s temporary travel ban was a bad
