15 September 2017 Don’t Be Greedy
Once upon a time, there were a fisherman and his wife who lived together in a huge castle right next to the ocean. Every morning, the fisherman would go out and fish for hours. One day, he was sitting there with his giant hook in the water and he felt a tug. Moments later, he felt a bigger tug. Then again, the tug was so hard, he almost flew out of his chair. He began to reel in and it took forever because whatever it was, was so big and heavy. He reeled it in and it was a giant shark.
Then the shark said to him, "Aw, no please, let me live. I am a prince in the sea. I'm not going to be as tasty as the other fish in the sea, I would not taste good to you. …show more content…
Everyone ate some delicious food made by the servants and went to bed.
Everything went fine for a month or two and then the woman said, “Listen, the summer is coming and I think we should get a yacht for the ocean. Since, the shark has already given us servants. I think he would be nice enough to give us another wish. You should go back and ask him.”
“Oh honey,” the man said, “I don’t think we need that. We have a little boat back in the shed that will be enough.”
“No, I want to be able to have a big party with our friends and family on our soon to be, new yacht.”
The man said, “I don’t want to make the him angry. It’s going to happen if we keep asking for wishes.”
“Just go right now,” his wife said, “I don’t think he’ll mind.” The man did not want to go, but he didn’t want to tell his wife no and upset her.
When the man had gotten to the sea he said, “Ocean, sea! Ocean, sea! La la le! Shark, shark, in the sea! My wife, my wife Janet, wants not, wants not, what I will, so be it.”
The flounder swam up and said, "What does Janet want now?"
“She wants a yacht for her friends and family in the summertime.”
“Uhg!” The flounder sigher really loud, “I guess I could give her what she wants …show more content…
He had gotten into a fight with his wife because he did not want to go find the shark again and he did not think it was right but she was yelling at him and made him go. When he found the shark again, he showed the sark the really long list for his wife and the shark told him that when he goes home his wife will have the things she
