People often say “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Describe a time when you misjudged someone based on his or her appearance or when someone misjudged you. Sometimes you misjudge people. By sometimes, I mean all the time. When you misjudge someone it is usually on their looks, but other times you think it is right to judge them by their ACTIONS. You think that if someone acts bad you have the “holy right” to judge them. Wait, but is that not what you are judging them for? Sometimes actions and looks are based on past experiences. Maybe a child is angry because he wants everyone to leave him alone because bullies used to constantly pester them. Or maybe someone wears “too much” makeup (whatever too much is) to cover the bruises from a parent 's abuse. Many people believe the saying “Don 't judge a book by its cover” refers to just looks. However, is a picture the only thing on a cover, but it isn’t. Actions are the other thing on that cover. Even though certain actions are bad don 't forget to figure out what caused it. So next time you judge someone think about what you are doing.
