Florida megachurch pastor Paula White has earned criticism after she said U.S. President Donald Trump is “authentically raised up by God” and even compared his election to the biblical story of Queen Esther.
In an appearance on the PTL Network’s “The Jim Bakker Show” broadcast on Aug. 22, Pastor White likened Trump’s rise to the presidency to Queen Esther’s coronation as a respected queen even though she was an unlikely candidate for the position.
