“Every day in America, another 27 people die as a result of drunk driving crashes,” according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This advertisement is human reality where it hurts you the most. This ad pictures two Caucasian men. There appears to be a strong white hairy arm, punching a vulnerable older man in the face. The man getting punched in the face looks to be in his late forty’s. He has strands of grey hair in the front of his head; he also has spit flying from his mouth due to the impact of how hard he was hit. His face is scrunched up from the pain he is experiencing.The stronger arm is very hairy, from that I can apply he is also an older man. The fist has a green, four, door, pickup truck. On the other man’s face, he has a small, red, coupe on his cheek. The green pickup truck is having a head on collision with the red coupe. Under the arm in uppercase writing states,“STOP THE VIOLENCE, DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE.” The words stop the violence are in white and the words Don’t Drink and Drive are in red. White is righteous color that symbolizes that no one should drink and drive. STOP is in bold print to catch the attention of the audience to not get behind the wheel intoxicated. Don’t drink and drive is in bold print red. The color red is very noticeable and a caution warning. This ad is a warning that symbolizes drinking and driving consequences. The red lettering also symbolize blood in the body. The white and red coloring each have a different meaning that is important. The white could also symbolize pureness. The white in this case would represent pureness, because if you are not drinking and driving you are doing the right thing. The red could be considered breaking the law, because it is a crime to drink in
