In the end of the documentary he makes comments like that dinosaurs were on Noah’s Arc; that supports the fact that he should not be involved in children’s education. He wants to incorporate religion in education way too much and it will greatly affect students later on. I believe Cynthia Dunbar was not elected either which was again probably a good decision. She did not care for children’s education she was basically on the Texas State Board of Education to get more attention and become more influential. After all, she is a lawyer not a teacher or anyone that knows what is best for children to learn and what will best benefit them in the future.
The documentary clearly shows how the State Board of Education reaches its conclusions. With the different perspectives and variety of interviews it helps us understand how they decide what children will be learning throughout the school year with their textbooks. It also demonstrates the importance of their meetings and decisions; textbook publishers and other experts are part of the documentary and they explain why it is so
