I agree with abortion only with rare occasions. I feel if a woman who is rapped shouldn’t be forced into having her child. She should have to right to abort the baby. I also agree with if a woman has an abortion she would be killing a potential life. A woman should not have an abortion because they are taking away a possible chance for the fetus to have a life. I feel it is not morally right to have an abortion without a good enough reason, because the fetus has moral rights and values to life. To me, a fetus has strong values to life because they are a potential life. Once a fetus is created it becomes a human being. In five weeks of development a fetus heart starts to beat. Though they may not have a fully developed brain they have a beating heart telling me they are a human life form. It should have a right to life because at 5 weeks the fetus has a heart beat. Although the fetus has no capabilities of having memories, it has the potential to develop them as it slowly becomes the embodiment of a baby right before birth. The fetus has a potential future to make decisions, have memories, creature goals for them selves that should hold morality over them. In many religions a fetus would be considered to have moral rights because it is a life that a woman has inside her. Since I am catholic, we believe abortion is not an option. The Catholic Church considers abortion as murder because you are killing another human
