In Scene 5 Act 1, when Don Pedro finds out that Hero wasn’t cheating on Claudio, and it was a trick after all, he asks Claudio “Runs not this speech like iron through your blood?” (Shakespear, 89) Don Pedro regrets what he did, and now feels horrible for slandering Hero. Going back to a previous point, when Don John finds out the plan for Don Pedro to woo Hero for Claudio, “If i can cross him any way, I bless myself every way.” (Shakespear, 15).
