The Role of the Dominion Mandate as a Motivator for Team Creativity The Dominion mandate was established by God as the appointment of mankind to a position of authority in the earth and as a direct imperative to exercise the dominion. The dominion of sin and death was followed by after Adam’s fall, but was not eradicated. The Dominion mandate was restored and renewed in the dominion of Christ. The believers of Christ shared in the dominion and made many accomplishments while Christ reigned from the throne of heaven. Genesis 1:27, “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” The Dominion mandate role specifically deals with mankind’s creations. Creativity is a part of God’s nature. Man and Woman is created in the image of God, and creating is part of the nature of man. God himself is described throughout the word as the fair, righteous and ultimate judge who evaluate all works to include team creativity. As Christians it is important to accept Gods word as the standard of critical thinking. In making this acceptance that will reassure us as children of God that we have the proper, powerful and yet challenging mind frame of being a critical thinking individual. Jesus was a critical thinking that was obedient to the will of his father. John 5:30, “U can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and mu judgement is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.” As a part of a creative team, critical thinking should not be avoided. However, as children of God we should engage in faithful critical thinking through the will of God and submission of our heavenly father.
