One significant event in my life was when I traveled to the Dominican Republic to see family. I had never been to another country before, and I was nervous and excited at the same time. I was curious to learn about the different culture. When my family and I arrived, my Aunt Melania greeted us with warm hugs and kisses. Overall, I feel as if my vacation to the Dominican was a good learning experience for me. I began to understand and accept the Dominican culture. I feel as if I grew closer to my family during the trip. Finally, I became a better person after coming back from the Dominican Republic.

My trip to the Dominican Republic was a life-changing experience for me. It changed my perspective on how I viewed the world. It was my first time visiting a country outside of the United States. The people there were so welcoming and the views were amazing. The trip helped to make me the person I am today. All in all, my trip to the Dominican Republic made me a better person.

It was a bittersweet goodbye. I was upset that I had to leave the beautiful island, but at the same time I was filled with joy to see my pets and friends again back home. I remember packing my clothes and souvenirs and saying goodbye to my aunt. I thought about all the memories I had made and that I will never forget.
To conclude, my trip to the Dominican Republic was a significant event in my life. Not only did it change my perspective on the world, but it also contributed to the person I am today. I feel as if I became closer to my family. Traveling to the Dominican Republic contributed to the development of who I am today. It made me a more thankful person. In addition, after returning to Florida, I had a better understanding of the Dominican culture even though it was shocking at first.
