The Campus Event that I had decided to write about was the speakers who had visited to speak about domestic violence. Sometimes, people talk about domestic violence as if it’s just something that only happens on television and isn’t real. One thing that I had really took from the speakers though was that it’s never too late to ask for help. A lot of the time in an abusive relationship the person that’s suffering is afraid to ask for help. To so many different resources that you can use for help that it shouldn’t get to the point where someone is killed. Also, we learned some of the signs of how to tell when someone is in an abusive relationship. One sign is that the person who is being abusive denies the fact that they are experiencing domestic
