It is up to the people to put the laws into action. Without growing the exposure to the issue, people aren’t going to be able to understand the issue at handle. Children are our future and it is our job to insure their safety and health, including mental health. According to the study “Awareness to practice” found that the child that is willing to come forward always has the law and protection system behind them to insure their safety. Without having the safety measure put in place it is going to be hard to keep having the children testify. This is why it is up to us now and the growing population to stop domestic violence. We need to be the change for the change to occur. The only way abuse will ever stop is if we all work towards stopping it, even if it is one person at a time. Great topic! Domestic violence is becoming more and more common, but you are correct, so many cases go unreported. What I find strange is how a domestic call can go bad so quick when the police are called out. There are so many factors to case for the victim, like where am I going to go, what about the kids, and where do I come up with income now. One thing you might look at is if there is any type of pattern, if the victim or suspect comes from a domestic violence type background as an adolescence.…

People see things the way they want to see them. We know this is true because trying to argue with someone who believes or loves something so strongly even though it is ultimately bad for them seems like an impossible uphill battle. Many people do not view domestic violence in the full ball of mess it truly is. The only way to casually change this epidemic of unhealthy relationships between two people, friendly or/and romantically is to inform the public of the depths of this sort of aggressive behavior.
