Domestic Violence and Control Domestic Violence is a very serious issue in the United States now a days. A lot of people do not really look into domestic violence as some people because a lot of this violence does not happen all the time but happens more than people think. There are a lot of different types of domestic violence like yelling and throwing things at someone or even a little more violence would be like hitting them and getting very physical with the victim. Domestic violence does not only have to be from relationships like boyfriend/girlfriend, it can be from parents to children, children abusing their parents, or even brother and sisters abusing each other. Eddie was isolating the victim from her family and friends and also her son that was living with them. Eddie did not want her to take her son trick or treating because she was going to be gone for too long. Eddie is a very controlling man. Also talks about how Eddie is jealous too. Which this happens when you start to abuse a victim and she really does not want to come home because she is scared of what is going to happen to her because he would always be calling her at work and always asking when she is going to be home and do not take long. That is what Eddie would say every time she would leave. I think that it is more than just physical abuse with domestic violence. I do think that physical abuse has a lot to do with domestic violence but also you have sexual abuse and emotional abuse. But I feel that you see more physical than any type of violence.
