Domestic Call Memo

I responded to 3175 County 7755 in reference to a domestic call. Upon arrival, I made contact with Betty A Pierson. Pierson advised that her son(Cornell Pierson) was being disrespectful to her in her house. Bety advised that she then picked up a broom stick and hit Cornell with it. Betty advised that she hit Cornell on one of his arms. I witness the broom stick broken in half laying on the front porch. Betty then told Cornell to get out the house, in which Cornell did. Cornell then went outside with the broom stick that Betty hit him with. Betty advised that while he was outside she heard him beting on the door with either the broom stick or his fist. Betty advised that it sounded more like the broom stick. Officers noticed dents in the door which looks like it came from the broom stick.

I then talked to Bett's daughter, Shauntae Pierson. Shaunte advised that she seen her mom and her brother fighting in the living room and led to the kitchen area. Shauntae also advhised that she seen Betty hit Cornell with the broom stick. Shauntae advised that Betty him him somewhere on the arm. Shautae couldn’t provided any further information.

And he advised that Betty has her own car but is always asking for Shauntae's car. Cornell advised that he made a smart comment and Betty asked for him to repeat himself. Cornell advised that he then repeated himself and that’s when Betty picked up a broom stick and hit him with it. Cornell advised that Betty hit him in the arm and neck. Cornell had injuries to his neck, right fist, and to the left side of his rib cage. Cornell's neck was extremly swollen but he refused further treatment. Also Cornell was bleeding from his right knuclkes. Cornell had a whip mark located on his left side, right below the rib
