Domain 4F sets the groundwork for being a professional. “Professionals do what they say they will, maintain confidentiality, and support their colleagues best efforts… and advocate for student success.” There are five components to Domain 4F: “integrity and ethical conduct, service to students, advocacy, decision making, and compliance with school and district regulations.” Integrity and ethical conduct include high standards of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality. “The purpose of schools is to educate students.” While this may seem obvious, it is imperative that this main foundational goal be recognized in showing professionalism as the core of education.
