Domain 2E determines how to organize the physical space of the classroom to promote student learning. There are two components to Domain 2E: “safety and accessibility, and arrangement of furniture and use of physical resources.” The classroom organization scheme varies directly depending on the type of class and the age of the students being taught. What would be appropriate for a college lecture would not be for a kindergarten mathematics class. Another aspect of organizing the room must be functionality for the students and the teacher.
