When it comes to intelligent animals, people think of dolphins.Dolphins brains are divided into two hemispheres, just like human brain but theirs are split into four parts called lobes. The fourth lobe of the dolphin’s brain is in charge of all of the senses.Human brains have split senses and so there is no need for a fourth lobe. Since they are carnivores (meat eaters), their control of their senses help them hunt. They use their excellent eyesight and hearing as well as. They also have an echolocation ability that helps them find the exact location. Some scientists even believe that dolphins may actually be able to sleep with one side of it’s brain at a time.To communicate with each other, Dolphins make a clicking sound while some also whistle.
