Introduction

Dolores was one of the most visible females in early-90s alternative rock. In the text Dolores O’Riordan, she was quoted as saying, ¨Anyone who gets famous so quickly and so young, you're bound to be a bit of a casualty in some fashion. You go through life, and then you realise you only live once, and that there are some things you might have lost or given away when you were young, so you go back to find them.¨

Early life

Half of her life had presented many challenges. To begin with, she was abused by a family friend. And also, she had suffered from bipolar disorder. Born in 1971 on September 6, she was the youngest of seven children. And that's enough of the bad stuff, when she was about 5 years old she started to sing a lot!

While the band was still making music they sold over 40 million records worldwide. One of their songs called ¨Linger¨ was one of the cranberries top hits from 1993. Another song called ¨Zombie¨ was also another famous song that was released september 1994. They had made the song ¨Zombie¨ because there had been a bombing in Warrington, Cheshire England on March 20, 1993 and that bombing and had killed two kids, Jonathan Ball and Tim parry. The cranberries had become one of the most famous bands in the 90s.

Later life

In 2003 Dolores had gone her separate way and had left the cranberries to become a better mother and also a better wife. Dolores had three children but had a divorce in 2014 with her husband. Dolores had attempted suicide in 2013. Dolores was in London to record the new version of the song ¨Zombie¨ but when the cleaners were cleaning the bathroom in the hotel where she was staying at they had found her dead body inside. She had died the 15th of January 2018. Dolores had died at age 46. They had her funeral in the hometown of where the cranberries had started the band, Ballybricken in Ireland.100s of people have went to Dolores O´Riordans
