By 1988 Dolly was back to focusing on her musical career. She was nominated for two Grammys that year and won the Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group (Dolly Parton Awards). She shared this award with the great Linda Ronstadt and legendary Emmylou Harris. They received this award due to a hit off of their collaboration album, Trio. They later produced a second album Trio II. Dolly Parton also won a two People’s Choice Awards that year, Favorite All-Around Female Entertainer and Favorite Female Performer in a New TV Program (Dolly Parton Awards). Dolly Parton was not done receiving awards. As an icon in the area of music and screen, she was nominated for more Grammy Awards in 1990, 92, 94, 95, and 96 (Dolly Parton Awards). In 2000,
