Seek perfection of character, live the way of truth, endeavor, be faithful, and refrain from violent behavior. These are the six great tenants of the Dojang Hun. Each tenant can be applied to my everyday situations. Seek perfection of character can apply to how I treat others. Live the way of truth can apply to making right decision throughout my life. Endeavor can apply to how I always desire to achieve many goals. Being faithful can apply to staying loyal to my friends and family. I respect other by being not only respectful but considerate as well. Refraining from violent behavior can apply to me by staying calm and mature when someone attempts to argue with me. Overall, I employ the six tenants of the Dojang Hun though my daily life. I seek perfection of character when I interact with others. On a daily basis, I communicate with friends, family, instructors, and a few strangers that I bump into. While talking to friends, I seek perfection of character by always being friendly and have a good, joyful conversation rather than complaining about my problems or saying rude comments about others. With family, I seek perfection of character by never talking back and helping with chores around the house without being asked to do them. An example of is that I refrain from the usage of any sort of drug. I am aware that drugs are extremely harmful for my body and also can be addicting, which would result in taking away my attention from important things like my education and looking for a part-time job. Another example of how I live the way of truth is that I choose to associate myself with other individuals who also make logical and wise decisions. I know that if I have friends who truly care for my state and well being, then they will help me make good choices in life and stay on track to becoming a happy, successful
