Nonhuman Primates is essential in the advance of science. In the article “Experimenting on Nonhuman Primates Is Vital to Science” states, “The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Regional Primate Research Centers (RPRCs) are a unique network of nonhuman primates research laboratories established as a scientific resource of regional and national …show more content…
The use of non-human primates many research questions can only answered through detailed study of a whole living system. The caging of the non-human primates in the research center their behavioral issues are like pacing, rocking back and forth, biting (leaving holes in their arms, chewing off fingers, or tail tips), pulling hair. Dogs used in experiments seem to undergo a lot of pain and suffer of dangerous infectious that causes convulsions, vomiting, and other symptoms. Many of the test are not use with an anthaesthetic. The article "Dogs Should Not Be Used for Animal Experimentation" it says that using any anthaesthetics would make the research even more difficult to make it relevant to humans. The research for anti-cancer treatment without any side effects of the heart. In the research with beagles the medicine appear to be safe but using it with humans the medicine started causing heart problems. The advance if technology could provided a decline in animal experimentation. The improved technology such as cell-culture systems and microanalytic techniques; more detailed model systems; more improved understanding signaling and metabolic pathways; and a host of other methods that allow scientist to answer important questions about health and disease tissue without performing harmful
