I had met people from Boeing, McDonald Douglas, Bell and Sikorsky in the process of this job, and because defense programs were growing, businesses were looking to hire. One night Larry Sanders from Bell invited me over for dinner. A couple people from Bell were there, and he wanted them to meet me. Soon after that Larry told me that he had never recommended hiring anyone before, but he had just done that with me. I was flattered but told him that I would only receive Major pay if I retired before the 3-year commitment was up. Introduction Manufacturing companies, like Hampshire Company, rely on the costing data provided by various costing methods to determine financial successes and downfalls. “By tracking and categorizing this information according to a rigorous accounting system, corporate management can determine with a high degree of accuracy the cost per unit of production and other key performance indicators” (Kucera 2018). Therefore, Hampshire Company has requested that I calculate how traditional and activity-based costing impact the company’s operating income. In addition, Hampshire Company has requested that I research and alternative costing method and decide whether or not it should be implemented (Kucera 2018).…

For the interview process, the two people that I interviewed were Martha Millison and Cecilia Rivas. Martha Millison is a school counselor at Green-Wood Charter School in Philadelphia and Cecilia Rivas is a CUA chief management supervisor. When both Martha and Cecilia came and spoke to our class, I was so intrigued by what they said that I wanted to know more about their work field. I especially found Martha job interesting because she works in a school setting and that’s where I want to work. I really enjoyed interviewing these two women because when I finish college I want to work with children and both Martha and Cecilia work with children in different ways.…

Prior to beginning the masters of occupational therapy program it was as if I was an ancient wanderer in the dark ages, eager to learn new ideas and discover new places not sure what the world would throw at me next. Over the next eight years I found myself at a series of personal crossroads one encounters during life’s journey. Not the crossroad where one sells their soul to the devil for some magical power. Crossroads that impacted my future, shaped who I am and my character, influenced life changes, which led to a transition that will influence me and my family for generations to come. I come from…
