Good evening, ladies and gentlemen,

I will be going to talk about how I am planning to convince my parents to get me a dog. By the end of my presentation, I will share how I will prove that I will commit to looking for a dog. For many years, I have begged for a dog but until now, I haven’t been successful in convincing my parents yet. Also, I have done my homework on time and keeping up with my chores for the last two weeks. The dog I would like is a petite Goldendoodle because they are a mix of a loyal companion and an easy dog to take care of. B1 To begin, the reason I would like to add a dog in my life is that owning a dog would give me many life experiences and lessons that adolescents who don’t have dogs don’t receive, such as patience. In addition to that, owning a dog makes you a better person because you have to be responsible for someone other than yourself. Another great reason to get a dog is that I would have to wake up early to walk it, which would be my favorite thing to do during the weekend. Lastly, having a dog gives the owner many benefits for their health.

I regularly get up on time and am organized for school every day. So that means I can maintain a routine and have the time and patience to add a dog to my lifestyle. I am also trying to get better grades in school and I go to Girl Guides on Tuesdays. I always have the time to offer to do extra housework other than my chores, which is keeping my room clean and folding my laundry. I think I might start being responsible for my lunch and save my money to put towards the dog, so there isn’t much of a reason that I shouldn’t get one.
